Triad Summer Strings

2026

July 27 - 31, 2026

St. Francis Episcopal Church
Greensboro, NC

Join us for an exciting week of chamber music for violinists, violists, and cellists!
Students will be assigned a chamber music group - a small ensemble where everyone has their own part - with daily coachings and time to practice with their group. This is a wonderful way for students to enhance their musicianship and form new friendships through music-making! Students will also benefit from a daily masterclass (mini-lessons in the context of a small group). Each day will include a music exploration, such as fiddling!

Rebekah Carlson
Rebekah has enjoyed experiencing each aspect of the Suzuki triangle: she started out as a Suzuki violinist at age 6, has enjoyed a 20+ year career as a registered Suzuki teacher, and most recently added the joy of parenting two Suzuki string players! Rebekah Carlson holds a degree in Violin Performance from Wheaton College (IL) and has been a member of the NC Opera Orchestra and the NC Ballet Orchestra; she currently freelances as a violinist and is a published author, writing books about composers for Simply Charlotte Mason. Rebekah has taken her students on performance tours to Austria, Germany, Italy, and Ireland, and she enjoys giving her students an opportunity to share their music as much as possible! In her spare time, she loves reading, cooking, and taking road trips with her family and their pop-up camper (named Gene).
Dr. Stephanie Ezerman
Dr. Stephanie Ezerman has appeared in concert across the United States and Canada as soloist and chamber musician. She is the former Associate Concertmaster of the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, and has held leadership positions with Cap Rock Pro Musica, Abilene Philharmonic, and the Big Spring Symphony. She is currently Principal Second Violin with the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra. A registered Suzuki teacher with training in books 1-10, Stephanie co-founded and directed the Suzuki Talent Education of the Lubbock Region (STELR) from 2001-2008 and taught Suzuki in the Schools at Greensboro Day School from 2013-2021. Stephanie holds a BM in Violin Performance from the University of Minnesota, and an MM and DMA from Texas Tech University, where she was teaching assistant to John Gilbert. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children (both Suzuki students), hiking in the mountains, watching birds, and listening to true crime podcasts.
